Written by Abishek A, co-founder of Classory. Classory is our product. We have aimed to be fair to every platform mentioned, and we say plainly where Graphy is cheaper and stronger than we are.

Graphy sells three self-serve plans in India, each priced as an annual fee plus a percentage of every sale: Launch at ₹24,999 per year plus 10%, Grow at ₹49,999 per year plus 7.5%, and Rise at ₹99,999 per year plus 5% (graphyapp.in/pricing, checked 26 September 2026). Which plan costs you least depends only on how much you sell, and the two crossover points are ₹10,00,000 and ₹20,00,000 in annual sales. This guide works out your total annual bill on each plan so you can pick the right one. Most of it is written for someone who is staying on Graphy.

TL;DR

  • Graphy's three self-serve India plans, as of September 2026: Launch ₹24,999/year + 10% per sale, Grow ₹49,999/year + 7.5%, Rise ₹99,999/year + 5%. A custom-priced Unlimited plan sits above them.
  • Every plan charges "the percentage, or ₹10, whichever is higher". That ₹10 floor only changes your effective rate on sales under ₹100 on Launch: a ₹49 sale pays 20.41%, while ₹199 and ₹2,999 sales both pay an identical 10%.
  • Launch to Grow pays for itself at exactly ₹10,00,000 in annual sales; Grow to Rise at exactly ₹20,00,000. Below ₹10 lakh, Launch is the cheapest Graphy plan.
  • Graphy includes a 14-day free trial and a branded Android app on paid plans. iOS is a paid add-on on Rise only, and migration assistance is listed on Rise.
  • Against a flat-subscription platform, Graphy Launch is the cheaper buy below roughly ₹6,50,000 in annual sales. At ₹5,00,000 it costs about ₹84,999 against about ₹99,988 for Classory Pro at its launch price.
  • Payment gateway charges and GST sit on top of every number in this post.

What does Graphy cost in India?

Graphy publishes three self-serve India plans. Each one is an annual subscription plus a cut of every sale.

PlanAnnual feePer-sale fee
Launch₹24,99910% per sale, or ₹10, whichever is higher
Grow₹49,9997.5% per sale, or ₹10, whichever is higher
Rise₹99,9995% per sale, or ₹10, whichever is higher

Pricing as of September 2026, from graphyapp.in/pricing (checked 26 September 2026). The page does not say whether these prices include GST, so ask Graphy before you budget.

The pattern is consistent: pay more up front, pay less per sale. Because the annual fees are fixed and the rate differences are a clean 2.5 percentage points at each step, the crossover points land on round numbers, worked out further down.

One structural point before anything else: these plans are billed annually, not monthly. You're committing for a year, so pick the plan that matches the sales you expect over the next twelve months, not the ones you made in the last twelve.

What do you get beyond the fees?

A 14-day free trial. Build a course and run checkout end to end before paying an annual fee. Use it properly: publish a real course, take a real test payment, and confirm the features you need sit on the tier you're considering rather than the tier above it.

A branded Android app on paid plans. Your own app, your own branding, on the Play Store. For Indian coaching audiences this isn't a vanity feature: an app install keeps you on the student's home screen in a way a browser tab does not.

iOS as a paid add-on on Rise only. iOS is not included on Launch or Grow. If your audience is iPhone-heavy, that changes your plan choice and your budget on day one, regardless of what the cost arithmetic says. The add-on is priced separately, so ask Graphy for the figure.

Migration assistance on Rise. Graphy lists migration assistance on its Rise plan, and end-to-end onboarding and migration on its custom Unlimited plan. If you're still deciding whether to move at all, selling online courses without Udemy covers what actually changes.

What does "or ₹10, whichever is higher" mean in practice?

Graphy charges the larger of the two amounts on every transaction, which creates a hard ₹10 minimum per sale.

That floor only bites below ₹100 on the Launch plan. At exactly ₹100, 10% is ₹10 and the two rules give the same answer. Above ₹100, the percentage is always the larger number, so you simply pay the headline rate.

Sale price (Launch plan, 10%)Fee chargedEffective rate
₹49₹10.0020.41%
₹99₹10.0010.10%
₹199₹19.9010.00%
₹999₹99.9010.00%
₹2,999₹299.9010.00%

Assumptions

  • Effective rate = fee ÷ sale price, computed from Graphy's published Launch rule at graphyapp.in/pricing (checked 26 September 2026).
  • Payment gateway charges and GST are excluded from this table.
  • On Grow the floor bites below ₹133 and on Rise below ₹200, because those are the prices at which the percentage falls under ₹10.

Practical reading: if your cheapest product is ₹199 or more on Launch, the ₹10 floor never applies to you. It matters if you sell ₹49 sample modules, single recorded lectures or low-priced practice tests in volume, a common pattern for coaching institutes selling exam-season test series. If that's you, the fix is usually to bundle rather than to change platform: ten ₹49 tests sold separately pay ₹100 in fees; the same ten sold as a ₹490 pack pay ₹49.

What is your total annual cost on each Graphy plan?

Here is the full-year bill at three sales levels, including a 2% payment gateway charge so the numbers reflect what actually leaves your account.

Annual salesLaunch (₹24,999 + 10%)Grow (₹49,999 + 7.5%)Rise (₹99,999 + 5%)
₹5,00,000₹84,999₹97,499₹1,34,999
₹10,00,000₹1,44,999₹1,44,999₹1,69,999
₹25,00,000₹3,24,999₹2,87,499₹2,74,999

Assumptions

  • Plan prices from graphyapp.in/pricing, checked 26 September 2026. Totals are arithmetic from those published prices.
  • Each figure is the annual fee, plus the plan's percentage of sales, plus a 2% payment gateway charge applied identically to all three columns. 2% is Razorpay's standard domestic rate, with 18% GST charged on the fee (razorpay.com/pricing).
  • GST is excluded from every figure.
  • The ₹10 floor affects no row, because every modelled transaction is assumed to be above ₹200.
  • Bold marks the cheapest plan at that sales level. At ₹10,00,000, Launch and Grow cost exactly the same.
  • Plan feature differences (app availability, limits, support level) are not priced in. This is a cost table, not a value judgement.

Which Graphy plan should you be on?

Take your realistic sales figure for the next twelve months and read it off this list.

  • Under ₹10,00,000 in annual sales: Launch. The 10% rate costs you less than the ₹25,000 extra that Grow charges up front.
  • Between ₹10,00,000 and ₹20,00,000: Grow. The 2.5-point saving now outweighs the higher annual fee.
  • Above ₹20,00,000: Rise. Same logic one step up.

Here is why those two numbers are what they are.

Launch to Grow. Grow costs ₹25,000 more per year (₹49,999 versus ₹24,999) and saves 2.5 percentage points on every sale (10% down to 7.5%). Break-even = ₹25,000 ÷ 0.025 = ₹10,00,000 in annual sales.

Grow to Rise. Rise costs ₹50,000 more per year (₹99,999 versus ₹49,999) and also saves 2.5 points (7.5% down to 5%). Break-even = ₹50,000 ÷ 0.025 = ₹20,00,000 in annual sales.

Run it on your own number: break-even sales = (higher plan's annual fee − lower plan's annual fee) ÷ (difference in rates, as a decimal).

Three things override the arithmetic:

  1. iOS. If you need an iPhone app, you need Rise plus the add-on, whatever your sales figure says.
  2. Forward, not backward. You're buying a year. If you're at ₹8 lakh and growing fast, Grow may be right before you technically cross ₹10 lakh; but if you're at ₹12 lakh and flat, don't buy Rise on optimism.
  3. Feature limits. Check seat counts, storage and support levels on the tier you're sizing for. A plan that's ₹10,000 cheaper and can't hold your content isn't cheaper.

If you're sitting almost exactly on a crossover, say ₹9.8 lakh, the difference is a few thousand rupees either way. Pick on features at that point, not on the maths.

What else belongs in your budget?

Two costs apply no matter which platform you're on.

Payment gateway charges. Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree and similar gateways take a cut of every transaction on top of the platform fee. Not a platform differentiator, but it belongs in your model. Razorpay's standard rate is 2% per successful domestic transaction plus 18% GST on the fee.

GST. There's GST on what you pay the platform, and the separate question of the tax treatment of what your students pay you. The second depends on your registration status, what you sell and where your buyer is, and it's a question for a chartered accountant. The questions to take to them are in GST on online courses in India.

Beyond that: your domain, video overage, and your own time. What an online course platform really costs in India breaks down the full picture, and how to price an online course in India covers the revenue side.

How does Graphy compare with a flat-subscription platform?

Briefly, because this post is mostly about getting your Graphy plan right.

A flat-subscription platform charges a fixed fee and takes no percentage, so its bill doesn't move when your sales do. Graphy's does. The two models cross at a specific sales figure.

Annual salesCheapest Graphy planClassory Pro (launch price, 0%)Cheaper option
₹5,00,000₹84,999 (Launch)₹99,988Graphy, by ~₹15,000
₹10,00,000₹1,44,999 (Launch or Grow)₹1,09,988Classory, by ~₹35,011
₹25,00,000₹2,74,999 (Rise)₹1,39,988Classory, by ~₹1,35,011

Assumptions

  • Graphy prices from graphyapp.in/pricing; Classory prices from classory.app/pricing. Both checked 26 September 2026.
  • Classory Pro at the launch price of ₹7,499/month = ₹89,988/year at 0% commission, which requires connecting your own Razorpay. At the standard ₹9,999/month the annual figure is ₹1,19,988 and the crossover moves from about ₹6,50,000 to about ₹9,50,000 in sales.
  • Classory lists plan prices with 18% GST extra. Launch pricing ends 31 December 2026 and is locked for 12 months once taken.
  • A 2% gateway charge is included on both sides. It cancels out of the crossover but not out of the totals.
  • The Graphy column uses the cheapest Graphy plan at each level, which is the fair comparison.
  • The plans are not feature-equivalent.

Where Graphy or Learnyst is the better choice

Two things must be said plainly. Below roughly ₹6,50,000 in annual sales, Graphy Launch is cheaper than Classory Pro at its launch price, about ₹15,000 a year cheaper at ₹5,00,000 in sales. And Graphy includes a branded Android app on its paid plans, with iOS available as an add-on on Rise; Classory has no native iOS or Android apps at all today. If either of those describes your situation, Graphy is the correct answer and the rest of this section doesn't change it.

Above the crossover, the percentage becomes the expensive part. At ₹25,00,000 in annual sales the gap is roughly ₹1,35,011 for a single year, and it widens as you grow. Classory Pro is ₹7,499/month at launch price and ₹9,999/month standard, plus 18% GST, with 0% commission when you connect your own Razorpay or a flat 5% if Classory collects payments; selling courses requires the Pro plan. Its current limitations: no payments outside India, no native iOS or Android apps, assisted rather than one-click migration, and no published case study with numbers yet (see classory.app/trust for the current list).

Learnyst belongs in the same breath. Its INR pricing starts at ₹3,499 per month for the Essential plan, and Learnyst advertises zero transaction fees and DRM content protection (learnyst.com/pricing, checked 26 September 2026). That is cheaper on subscription alone than Classory Pro. 0% commission is not unique to any one platform, and anyone comparing on fees should price Learnyst too.

The general method for running this comparison against any two platforms is in course platform transaction fees explained, and the side-by-side is at Classory vs Graphy.

FAQ

How much does Graphy cost in India? Graphy publishes three self-serve India plans as of September 2026: Launch at ₹24,999 per year plus 10% per sale, Grow at ₹49,999 per year plus 7.5%, and Rise at ₹99,999 per year plus 5%. Every plan applies the fee as the percentage or ₹10, whichever is higher. Payment gateway charges and GST are additional.

When should I upgrade from Graphy Launch to Grow? At ₹10,00,000 in annual sales. Grow costs ₹25,000 more per year and saves 2.5 percentage points per sale, so ₹25,000 ÷ 0.025 = ₹10,00,000. Below that, Launch is cheaper; above it, Grow is. The same arithmetic puts the Grow-to-Rise crossover at ₹20,00,000 in annual sales.

Which Graphy plan is cheapest for me? Take your expected sales for the next twelve months. Under ₹10,00,000, Launch costs least. Between ₹10,00,000 and ₹20,00,000, Grow costs least. Above ₹20,00,000, Rise costs least. Two things override this: needing an iOS app, which requires Rise, and any feature limit that your content or team size would exceed.

Does Graphy have a free trial? Yes, Graphy offers a 14-day free trial as of September 2026. Because plans are billed annually rather than monthly, use the trial to build a real course, test checkout end to end and confirm that the features you need sit on the tier you're considering, before committing to a full year.

Does Graphy include a mobile app? Graphy includes a branded Android app on paid plans. iOS is available as a paid add-on on the Rise plan only, so it is not included on Launch or Grow. If you need both app stores, budget for Rise plus the iOS add-on rather than assuming an entry plan covers it.

Does the ₹10 minimum fee affect my pricing? Only if you sell below ₹100 on the Launch plan. A ₹49 sale pays ₹10, an effective 20.41%, while ₹199 and ₹2,999 sales both pay a straight 10%. On Grow the floor bites below ₹133 and on Rise below ₹200. Bundling cheap items into a pack is usually a better fix than switching platform.

Is Graphy cheaper than a flat-subscription platform? Below roughly ₹6,50,000 in annual sales, yes. At ₹5,00,000 Graphy Launch totals about ₹84,999 against about ₹99,988 for Classory Pro at launch price. Above that crossover the percentage overtakes the subscription: at ₹25,00,000 Graphy's cheapest plan costs about ₹2,74,999 versus about ₹1,39,988.
